Arti delivers award-winning, cloud-based AR technology, but the real magic is the people who make it all possible. In this new series of Q&A interviews, you’ll meet the team behind the tech.
What’s your role at Arti?
I’m a 3D & AR designer — from concept to implementation of designs to Arti’s system.
Why did you decide to join the company?
I am fascinated by AR technology and wanted to be a part of an amazing product that will change the way people all over the world, whether they are broadcasters or content creators, will tell their story in the most special and interesting way.
What was your very first job?
Motion and AR designer at the Israeli lead TV news channel.
Where did you grow up and what would you recommend to anyone who visits?
I was born and raised in Israel, except for 5 years living in Belgium with my family. I would recommend visiting the Magritte Museum in Brussels and eating a real Belgian waffle.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I spend most of my free time by the beach or paddling on a SUP, a stand-up paddle board. The ocean is the place I go to relax and get inspired.
What’s one book or movie that you enjoy reading/watching over and over again?
Ratatouille — great movie and animation.
If you had an unlimited budget, where would you travel?
I would like to visit Japan for its interesting culture and innovative use of technology, art and design…but most of all for the new Super Nintendo World theme park that opened recently in Osaka.
Anyone working with me should know…
That I always have music playing in the background when I’m working.
